Traveling for some may seem too much of an expense factor. As most friends tell me, “We should definitely go here next year”.. Next year comes around and expenses seem to become an issue. In other cases some say; “why do you spend on traveling? It’s just a waste of money.” Many who make those comments have never left there country or state. Traveling, isn’t simply sight seeing or just taking a picture. It has a greater value than attending the same daily routines or travel distanation you’re familiar with.

Cultures and Traditions

Over the years, I’ve been bless to be surronded with different family members and friends from different cultural backgrounds. A close friend from Poland once told me, “those who don’t venture off in there own world, may never find their own worth.” Traveling could potentiall change your mindset on everyday activities and create a different view on life. We’re placed in a world that encourages hard work, while encouraging us to focus on task at hand. However, do we ever take the time to value the amount of time we should spend on ourselves? Surronding yourself with the same routines and group of friends, doesn’t always justify the world we’re able to learn and embark in. My first trip to El Salvador, made me learn the differences in currency and culture. Coming from a world that offered me little or no transportation opportunities. I was clueless to know other societies had methods of getting around. I know you’re probably thinking, what does transportation need to do with thinking differently? Imagine going to work every morning, and returning back home through the same metro system. You’re inclined to socialize with others, who are also in the same position as you. Living in a city or country that creates communication, a way of life different from the United States, may offer you a differenty methology. Traveling lets you see these things and most importantly lets you feel the difference between your personal experiences and others. In other cases you’re also able to see the good your homeland offers you, and great things you may take for granted.

Travel and Live

Traveling doesn’t need to be viewed as a cost that doesn’t offer you any value in life. Though you may not be able to gain any additional amount of money from your vacation, you do comeback home with a different mindset. You learn a few things from your experience. Viewing different side of the worlds, lets you find your needs and understand your wants. A vacation doesn’t necessarily have to be a time away from work or home, but a journey in self fullfillment. Spending can teach you how to budget your life and also value a dollar. First time I flew to Paris, I didn’t have a clue about exchange rate. I experience a different world that I had no clue existed, from exiting the airport to simply using the restroom. My experience made me realize that spending was a natural occurence in traveling or visitng a distant relative. You’re learning and viewing different aspect from a different world. You’re taking in the good and also the bad you may experience. Though you may feel at first lost and confuse, you will find a way to percervier and grow as a human. No, other experience can give you the satisfaction in knowing what you’re capable of doing.

Travel try new things

If you’re thinking the posibility of traveling to any country, city or state; don’t be discourage by the amount of negative feedback you recieve from others. Most roads that are difficult to embark on are the roads least travelled. Living life is an important factor in involving to your full potential.
